Today is the first day of my blog!
As a designer, I love the creative process that evolves with each project. Inspiration can come from anywhere - and often comes in a variety of forms, places, and objects. Here is an inspiration board for a current project.
I recently visited Tallahassee Nurseries in search of a bench. I always leave so inspired (and wistful for a yard), and this trip did not disappoint. However, I became so enamored with the gorgeous blooms and greenery that I forgot to find the bench.
It looks like I'll be making a return visit for the bench and a healthy dose of inspiration.
Great post Emily! Can't wait to see what you do with your new blog... With renovating our new house and being totally interior design challenged I will definitely make a habit of checking in often for ideas.

p.p.s. Is there such a theme as "modern rustic"? Tim and I think that is our style but we need some ideas on how to make it seem effortless.
